The annual Chocolate Sampling Event took place on February 10, 2024 in the Library's Community Room from 1PM to 3PM.

 

The Friends welcomed close to 70 guests to this popular chocolate-lovers celebration. For those individuals unfamiliar with this event, it is a time when the Friends Board provide chocolate treats of cakes, cookies, candy, chocolate-covered strawberries and other chocolate desserts to members.  It's a nice occasion for us to become acquainted with those individuals we do not see often.

 

The event is our way of saying "Thank you" to our members for their financial support.  It is because of those who pay the annual membership dues that the Friends are able to help the library obtain quality programs, museum passes and needed equipment.
