Purpose:  The Friends believe the East Longmeadow Public Library is a vital literary, cultural and social center of our community. We help educate the public about library issues and promote good-will. Our organization is committed to financially supporting the East Longmeadow Public Library so that it can offer outstanding activities and programs to individuals of all ages.

Accomplishments:  We are proud to bring you tried-and-true events and are open to learn and participate in any new endeavors.  Thanks to the support of the membership dues, year-round fundraisers, donations, and the sale of Friends' merchandise, the Friends have been able to supplement the library's operating budget.  Take a look at some of the outcome of our efforts:
